I seem to be finding that agnosticism is often just lumped in with atheism as a term, even when discussions of "atheism" are actually more about "knowledge" and "certainty" rather than being opposed or against God.

I am a recent deconvert from Christianity and now (though I am not a fan of labels) am an agnostic atheist.
